From the book' "Praying the Bible for Your Children" by David & Heather Kopp....
On this journey of prayer we never pray alone. We are actually joining with Christ in His greatest work in heaven today. He too stands before the Father interceding for His children--us! -- as well as our children (Rom 8:34). And He gives us His spirit to help us as we pray.
Rom 8:26-27 And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness;for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
In their book they also write:
In Jesus' name we pray and are confident that the God who gives endurance, encouragement, and hope (Rom 15:5, 13) will accomplish immeasurably more than all you can ask or imagine because His own power-the same power that raised Jesus from the dead (1Peter 1:21) is at work in you and in the children you love (Eph 3:20)

Today I kept singing a Casting Crowns song and led me to the Bible to look up the verse. I kept thinking of you when I sang it and wanted to share,
Psalm 121
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
